Idaho provides some of the lowest natural gas prices in the country.
The North-South natural gas pipeline runs through Idaho, providing an ample supply from both the Southwest and Canada. Approximately two-thirds of Idaho's electricity is produced with low-cost hydropower facilities, making industrial electric rates lower than most major cities in the nation and about half that of many western states.
